About Louemma

Camp Louemma is a traditional coed sleepaway camp dedicated to ensuring that our campers, ages 7-15, have a summer experience they will never forget.

The camp is located right along the Appalachian Trail in Sussex, New Jersey, about 5 minutes from Mountain Creek and Crystal Springs Resort. We are one of, if not the closest Jewish sleepaway camp​ from the George Washington Bridge.

The camp features a floating obstacle course installed over our private, scenic lake, a state-of-the-art pool with water slides, and a climbing tower with a zip line. Our program activities include, among others, various sports, dune buggy go-Karts, archery, musical plays, arts and crafts, dance, campfires, a game room, arcade, inter-camp games and out-of-camp trips.

We are a down-to-earth camp with a personal touch, providing a meaningful and fun environment where each camper develops his/her own individual identity while making lifelong friendships and memories.
